About Video Game Connections

Video Game Connections opened in January 1991, dealing only in used games and systems for all systems from the '70s through the '90s. As newer systems were produced, and the lack of used tites for such systems, the store started carrying new titles as well.

What we sell

We carry products for just about every game console released since the Atari 2600 in 1977 through the XBox & Gamecube in 2001 and will stock items for newer systems as they're released. We also carry action figures, trading cards and more!

Video Game Connections Internet Store offers you several convenient ways to order products:

Order on-line 
  • To order, simply browse our product selection, choosing products to add to your shopping basket.
  • You can check and modify your shopping basket at any time by clicking "basket contents" at the top of the page.
  • When you're finished shopping, click on the "checkout" button at the top of the page.(at this point the store will go SSL.)
  • There you'll have a choice to set up an account, that will remember your shipping and billing info. No credit card information is stored, only addresses.
  • Fill in or check your customer information. (press "Continue" button at the bottom)
  • Fill in shipping and payment choices. (press "Continue" button at the bottom)
  • Please review your Order Form carefully before completing your purchase.Then fill in your card, check# or continue to pay pal checkout.
  • When you are ready to complete your purchase, click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page. 
  • A final order form will appear which you can print for your records.
  • An E-Mail will be sent to you confirming what you ordered.

Return/Exchange Policy

All used items are back by a 30 day replacement guaranty agains defects. All items are generally backed by a manufacturer's waranty, but in many cases defectives can be exchanged with us for the same item. We are also more than happy to accept exchanges for unwanted items towards another purchase, just email us and we'll provide reutrn instructions. New items can only be exchanged for another item if unopened and all exchanges have to be requested in a reasonable time frame.

Damaged / Lost Shipments

While it seldom happens, occasionally a package is lost or damaged in transit. Therefore, insurance is available at exact USPS rates ($1.30 for up to $50, $2.20 up to $100, $1.00 per $100 over $200). You will be asked during checkout if you want to add insurance.

Repairs and Service

Some of our products are warranted and serviced directly by the manufacturer. Please take the time to fill out and send their warranty registrations included in the package and follow the instructions for returning their items for warranty or repair.

Shipping

We recomend selecting USPS Priority Mail for shipping, though Parcel Post & Express Mail are also options. You will be shown the shipping rate at the final checkout screen which is the estimated shipping charge for your order. In some cases, actual shipping may be less. You will be charged the lesser of the two. We do not add any additional fees for shipping other than our actual postage cost.

International shipping rates shown during checkout are also estimates and options are Surface, Air, Global Priority & Global Express. In some cases, we may not be able to ship to certain countries or use a particual shipping method due to size or weight.

Payment & Taxes We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Money Orders,Personal Checks and payments through PayPal. All Check payments may beheld up to 10 business days for clearance. Credit Card, PayPal & Money Order sales are shipped within 48 hours of payment.

Sales tax is applied to all New Jersey shipments. 

Security

Our secure server uses the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol for encryption. This means that credit card transactions are secure for those who use Netscape Navigator, Microsoft's Internet Explorer and other SSL enabled browsers.
Our customer records are strictly confidential. It is our policy not to loan, rent or sell our mailing list. You may receive promotional material from time to time from Video Game Connections only. 

Privacy

We at Video Game Connections will keep any information we receive from you in a secure area. In other words no one will be able to see information on customers except for the purpose of shipping the order or the person in charge of check or credit card processing.
